About

Arts and culture is central to meaningful civic transformation. At Westway Trust, we’re exploring ways to strengthen the North Kensington community through access to arts funding, participation, high-quality programming and cultural spaces. We’re committed to increasing local artists’ opportunities, networks and development and to celebrating the vibrant cultural heritage, music, authenticity and activism the area is known for around the world.

Westway Trust is a social enterprise and registered charity, created in response to local protests about the building of the Westway flyover in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Our purpose is to realise the full potential of the community, transforming the 23 acres of land into a thriving place for people to live, work and play.
