In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s with a heavy heart that we’ve decided to postpone the last three happenings of POP! Festival.

We wholeheartedly believe in the power of these pieces. They deserve to be shown when it is safe for everyone to enjoy them.

Postponing these events is the responsible thing to do in the circumstances. The wellbeing of the artists, staff, and audience members is of paramount importance to us.

We are keeping a close eye on the situation as it develops and will let you know as soon as we are able to, when the new dates will be.

In the meantime, please show some love to these artists: @producedmoon @tolucoker @adecokercola @nickfieldartist as well as all the other artists who took part in POP! Festival so far!

Opening tomorrow, @marieklimis's A Love Letter. Enter a vintage caravan outside of the @westway_trust on Thorpe Close, to discover a celebration of love after 50 . Through dioramas and art installations, Marie has translated the love stories of North Kensington. As with all POP! Festival (Portobello Open-Process Festival) happenings, it's utterly free to attend. So take 10 minutes out of your day to discover this unique work.

The caravan will be open Thursday until Sunday, 12-6pm every day. Admission is on a first come first served basis, but people with special access needs can book a time slot by contacting Marie Klimis on marieklimis@gmail.com.

Celebrated fashion designer Tolu Coker @tolucoker

Celebrated fashion designer Tolu Coker @tolucoker is exploring the past, present and future of North Kensington's community in her new documentary Masqueraded Memoirs. Along with her brother @adecokercola, they have dived in the archives of their late father Kayode Coker to question how through each generation the changing social landscape has influenced new notions of identity.

Come and watch the documentary, followed by a Q&A with Tolu Coker on Saturday 21st March, 3-4.30pm. Like all POP! Festival events, it's entirely free to attend, but booking is recommended!

Whether you’re 15 or 50, love stories inspire us all. "A Love Letter", focuses on and celebrates love after 50, while the media, advertising and film industries overload us with images of young love. You will get to explore intimate stories from real people that give insights into the ups and downs of romantic relationships at a later stage in life.
