This is the largest and fastest growing festival in the community. It’s all inclusive in its make-up and attendances.
Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers Community Festival was a one-day free family-friendly event that built strong relationships between people through the shared experience of carnival arts, live music, and participatory family activities.
The aim of the NHCP Community Festival in 2019 was to celebrate, commemorate, unite and educate audiences, particularly the local residents of Notting Hill on the contributions made by the Windrush generation. This was done through the showcasing of performance artists, music, film, workshops, and other family centred activities that celebrated and honoured the originators and true pioneers of the Notting Hill Carnival.
