Subterania

Subterania, previously Acklam Hall, was originally opened in 1989 by the Mean Fiddler with well-known artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, Foo Fighters, Paul Weller, Madonna, Pulp and Alanis Morissette all performing at the venue. It was relaunched in 2018 and continues its live music tradition alongside hosting other performances and events.

Westbank is an upper-level gallery, arts and music space overlooking Portobello Green. Situated on the first floor, it consists of an event space and bar which also doubles up as a gallery, a lounge with comfortable sofas and features a balcony.
