Our Stories is a space to share the stories at the heart of our community. A space for anyone who is affected by Grenfell, to listen and share from those affected and those who love them.
This wellbeing afternoon is for this community to come together and share their stories, build understanding and creative a safe space to talk about mental health.
3.30 – 6pm: Wellbeing afternoon (Drop in)
A conversation around wellbeing, featuring a mental health & wellbeing panel: Susan Rudnick from Latimer Community Arts Therapy, Amell El-guenuni from NHS Trust and Errol Donald a coach and facilitator.
The panel is followed by breakout and Q&A sessions.
6pm – 7pm: Refreshments, creative storytelling, hand massages and self-care tips.
7pm – 9.30pm: Our Stories
Open Mic performance hosted by Swarzy Macaly that features storytelling, live music, poetry and & more from participants of our workshops and more.
Come and discover how Grenfell has changed lives and laws. Come and listen to the moment when hopelessness gave in to courage. Find out who met as strangers and left as friends. It‘s these memories, these first-hand accounts, these testimonies, that paint a more complete picture of Grenfell.

About Feruza Afewerki
Feruza is a photographer and creative director. She was born in Eritrea and raised in West London. As a qualified personal coach, Feruza enjoys fusing coaching principles into her portrait photography. She was previously the Creative Director for Dream Nation and has experience of curating personal development events and campaigns for young adults.
After losing her sister and niece in the Grenfell tragedy, Feruza has been inspired to refocus the lens on the heart of the matter – highlighting the humanity and courage of this community and memories of their loved ones.
Feruza and her team are excited to deliver a series of workshops to encourage creativity in storytelling to define your own narrative.
