Tim Head’s collection of new artistic work stems from his desire to transform urban places into vivid and interesting environments that unleash the heart, soul and energy of a place onto grey concrete walls.
My Yard aims to inject the Westway with positivity, optimism and pride. The three pieces are inspired by a creative dialogue with people navigating the area. Two large abstract pop-art murals will feature alongside a subtle text-based artwork, bringing to light hidden stories and thoughts of the people he has encountered and encouraged to explore, re-evaluate and reclaim the Westway as a place of ideas and possibilities.
